Pranvy Yoga is a yoga instructor discovery, booking, and student intake platform operated from India.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information depending on how you use Pranvy Yoga.

Account information

Name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, profile photo, user role (student, instructor, or admin), country, and timezone.

Student profile and intake

Goals, yoga level, preferred class type, preferred class times, physical limitations, injuries, mobility concerns, pregnancy status, and any health-related notes voluntarily shared with instructors for class suitability.

Instructor profile

Bio, profile photo, certifications, experience, languages spoken, specialties, class details, schedule, and availability.

Booking data

Class bookings, booking status, attendance records, join link access, and post-class reviews.

Payment data

Payment provider name, payment status, student payable amount, instructor class fee, platform fee amount, currency, and provider order or payment reference IDs. We do not store card numbers, CVV, or banking credentials.

Messages and support

Contact form submissions, support requests, and feedback messages.

Technical and log data

IP address, device and browser information, session logs, cookies, analytics data, and crash reports.

Uploaded files

Profile photos, class images, and any certificates uploaded by instructors.

Student Health and Intake Data

Pranvy Yoga does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Students should consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning yoga if they have a medical condition.

Students may voluntarily share goals, limitations, injuries, pregnancy status, mobility concerns, or other health-related notes when completing an intake form. This information is shared only with the instructor for the purpose of understanding class suitability and providing appropriate support. Sharing this information is optional. Students are responsible for assessing their own readiness to participate in yoga activity.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Create and manage your Pranvy Yoga account
Show public instructor and class profiles
Match students with suitable instructors
Process class bookings
Handle payments and send booking or payment notifications
Provide customer and instructor support
Review, moderate, and improve platform quality and safety
Remove abusive reviews, spam, or policy violations
Comply with legal obligations

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following circumstances:

With instructors

Student name, goal, yoga level, timezone, booking details, and intake information needed for class support. Instructors are expected to keep student information confidential.

With payment providers

Payment amount, currency, booking reference, and required checkout data is shared with providers such as Razorpay and PayPal to process transactions.

With service providers

We use Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, database, storage, and cloud functions. We may use additional providers for email, analytics, hosting, and support tooling.

With legal authorities

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pranvy Yoga, its users, or the public.

Public information

Approved instructor profiles, public class details, and published reviews are visible to all visitors. Students control whether their review name is shown publicly.

Payments

Pranvy Yoga uses third-party payment providers including Razorpay and PayPal to process payments.

We do not store full card numbers, CVV codes, or banking credentials. Payment providers process and store payment details according to their own privacy policies and security standards.

We store only payment status, student payable amount, instructor class fee, platform fee amount, currency, and provider reference IDs for booking confirmation and record purposes.

Cookies and Analytics

Pranvy Yoga uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the platform.

We may use analytics tools to measure page visits, lead submissions, and booking activity. Analytics data is aggregated and not used to identify individual users beyond platform operations.

You may disable cookies through your browser settings, but some platform features may not work correctly without them.

Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active.
Booking and payment records may be retained for legal, tax, dispute, fraud prevention, and business record purposes even after account deletion.
Support messages are retained to maintain service quality and resolve disputes.
When an account is deleted, personal data may be removed or anonymized unless retention is required by applicable law.

Account Deletion and Data Rights

You may request account deletion through our data deletion page or by contacting privacy@pranvyoga.com.

You may also request:

Access to your personal data
Correction of inaccurate information
Deletion of your data, subject to legal and operational limits
A copy of data you have provided

To make any of these requests, contact privacy@pranvyoga.com and include your registered email address and the nature of your request. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Children

Pranvy Yoga is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Users under the age of 18 should use Pranvy Yoga only with the involvement of a parent or guardian where required by applicable law.

If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, please contact privacy@pranvyoga.com and we will take prompt action.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal data, including:

Firebase Authentication for secure login and identity management
Role-based access controls so students, instructors, and admins can only access their own data
Firestore security rules that prevent unauthorized reads and writes
Server-side payment verification rather than client-only payment handling
Restricted Firebase Storage rules for uploaded files
Environment variable protection for API keys and service credentials

International Users

Pranvy Yoga operates from India and uses service providers such as Firebase and Google Cloud, which may process data in multiple countries.

By using Pranvy Yoga, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We take reasonable steps to ensure that personal data is handled in accordance with applicable privacy law.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our platform, legal requirements, or business practices.

When we make significant changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For major changes, we may notify you by email or through the platform.

Continued use of Pranvy Yoga after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
